My career, the highs and lows:

Regrets, I've had a few.....

but mostly its been great, I have no doubt that even the worst of the jobs that I have found myself doing have taught me something, if nothing else they taught me to avoid getting into a similar situation again!

I started my working life in 1966, OK I know that's so long ago that many of you reading this page weren't even born then, or even when I started my project management specialism (some 28 years ago now), but that is NO REASON to click away to another page - you never know, you might learn something new.

I am willing to share a life-time's experience in the system development and integration process, that is design, devleopment, testing and implemention of IT systems. In all that time I have never been a stick-in-the-mud or a nine-till-fiver. I have always moved with the times and the technologies and the methods and at times even fads and fashions (sometimes to my great regret).

In many ways I am tired of it all, 45 years of working on IT projects is enough for any man, but I still want to give something back to people who are willing to listen, and I have a wealth of experience to offer, see the pages described below if you don't believe me :-)

A Bio is a potted history of my involvement in commercial IT, pretty much from it's start in Europe.

A CV-ish is a timeline of the organisations where I have worked, the roles that I have played and the products of that labour.

Some extras is a mish-mash of presentations, papers, training courses, experiences and the like that have contributed to my succesful career.
