Mike and I first met at Corporation Road Junior School in Darlington, then we lost touch during secondary school days.

 

We came back together during our mid teens and then lost each other again a generation later.

 

On the other doodlings page is an extract from "See ya in the long room" that describes how we met again. (Still WIP) The rest of our story is in the poem.

 

 

 

 

 

Written immediately after a poetry course at Arvon - all events described are completely fictional, apart from the murdering that went on that is :-)

 

 

 

 

This is a very old memory of mine, bike handlebars that were enamelled black always seemed something very special at the time. I can't recall ever seeing any others.

 

 

 

 

 

Another poem written at a time of loss, this time it relates to the son of a good colleague and friend who died too young and who will therefore forever remain an unbridled boy in our memories.
